On 21st April, consortium partners gathered in Munich for the Second Annual Meeting, an important milestone in the project’s journey.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to review progress, discuss ongoing activities, and plan the next steps together.
Over the course of the day, partners engaged in productive discussions, shared experiences from their respective work packages and study sites, and strengthened the collaborative spirit that underpins the project. These in-person exchanges are essential for fostering alignment, innovation, and mutual learning across the consortium.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all partners for their active participation, openness, and commitment. The meeting created a space not only for scientific and operational updates, but also for reflection, knowledge sharing, and collective growth.
A special thank you goes to our colleagues from the Desmond Tutu Health Foundation, who, despite not being physically present, joined the meeting online and made meaningful contributions to the discussions.
And last, but not least, a sincere thank you to the Institut für Infektions und Tropenmedizin, LMU Klinikum München for the warm welcome and excellent hosting.
As we enter the final year of the project, the momentum, collaboration, and shared commitment demonstrated during this meeting give us strong confidence to move forward with determination. Together, we are well positioned to make this last year a successful and impactful conclusion to our joint efforts.
