Today, the teams from Ospedale San Raffaele (OSR) in Milan and Heidelberg University Hospital came together in Heidelberg for a site visit as part of the ongoing collaboration within the BreathForDx project.
Site visits play a key role in strengthening coordination among partners and ensuring consistent implementation of study procedures across locations. They provide a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, observe workflows in practice, and discuss operational aspects of recruitment, sample collection, and data management.
This in-person meeting allowed both teams to review current activities, share experiences from their respective sites, and identify opportunities to further improve study implementation. Such exchanges are essential to maintaining high standards of quality and harmonisation across the project.
