The BreathForDx project recently welcomed an important visit to the Heidelberg study site.
During the visit, the project’s scientific lead had the opportunity to closely follow study procedures and engage directly with the local research site. The Heidelberg site is playing a key role in advancing the project’s efforts to evaluate accessible and patient-friendly diagnostic solutions for respiratory infections, including tuberculosis.
These visits are essential for strengthening collaboration among consortium partners, exchanging experiences from the field, and ensuring the smooth implementation of study activities across sites. Direct interaction provides valuable opportunities to discuss operational aspects, share feedback, and align future project activities.
The BreathForDx consortium remains committed to developing simple, scalable, and non-invasive diagnostic approaches that can improve access to screening and support global efforts in respiratory disease control and pandemic preparedness.
We would like to sincerely thank all colleagues, healthcare professionals, and research staff involved in the Heidelberg study activities for their dedication, expertise, and continued commitment to advancing respiratory diagnostics through collaborative research.
