During the first week of October, a representative of the Heidelberg team visited Milan to begin the first stakeholder interviews for the qualitative component of the BreathForDx project, in collaboration with the Ospedale San Raffaele team.
The interviews mark an important step in gathering local stakeholders’ perspectives and experiences, helping the project better understand the practical considerations surrounding the implementation of breath-based screening.
The visit also included the different recruitment sites across Milan, with the opportunity to observe local workflows, meet the teams involved in recruitment, and gain a closer understanding of the settings in which study activities take place.
Combining stakeholder interviews with site visits offered a valuable opportunity to connect qualitative research with everyday practice and further strengthen collaboration between the Heidelberg and Milan teams.
