We are pleased to announce that the team at Ospedale San Raffaele (OSR) has officially enrolled its first participants in the quantitative phase of the BreathForDx study. This milestone marks the beginning of data collection aimed at evaluating the performance and feasibility of breath-based diagnostic tools for respiratory infections in real-world settings.
Following the successful completion of the pilot SWAT phase, OSR now joins other recruitment sites in implementing the core study protocol. The quantitative phase will allow for the collection of crucial data on test accuracy, acceptability, and operational logistics, contributing to the development of more accessible diagnostic solutions.
